The Unifying Principle: Intelligence Is What Connects Time (ChatGPT)
Finally, the deepest principle might be: Intelligence is the capacity to bind past, present, and future into coherent, regenerative patterns. This manifests as: intergenerational whakapapa maramataka cycles musical structure AI embeddings ecological feedback systems cultural transmission memory compression architectures political evolution identity and narrative construction In all cases, intelligence is temporal, recursive, and relational .

when the end comes
when the end comes it will be just another day; another day of drinking room temperature beer; of yelling/laughing/crying at the TV; of corporate interests overtaking human rights; of grey skies and dark clouds floating on the horizon; of wishing you were anywhere else, under some other tsar. corruption doesn't happen overnight: it's built in stages. performative rage is their most devious tool. stoking our base desires, their fires inspire some new homicidal fool. s

Improvisation in my films
Aside from the jazz solos, my recent silent vigil and Aratere films reinforce that the success of the Dakumentary was in Gary's DIY revolution. Chlöe and I both have improv training. The Te Papa film is a good example. Dakta was essentially calling the shots in that film, and Gary was talking about it like an improv. Dakta was a musician in his younger days. Jammed with Dragon. - AMPP also applied rigid formal rules of the Dogme variety, which enhances the effect. Essenti

gossip
There's a difference between gossip that's largely shallow and gossip that threatens someone by saying they'll be shamed unless they go along with your plan. That's the point. My gossip was pointed, and largely opinion. You guys said I was a retarded pervert so that people wouldn't hire me. That's my answer to all those Wellington artists that are being smug. Say sorry for the 2022 hate hui. That's for the Wellington Greens and Act.

Apology hui
That's my main redress mechanism. If they allow it, it'll clear all the air. They can say that they thought I was a retard, and were wrong. In all the perceived homophobia that they bitched about regarding me was anti-femme, anti-trans ideologies that diminished me for being androgynous. Much cheaper than the civil harassment claims. Not wanting to be with guys doesn't mean that I don't support guys who do. - The IP breaches demand satisfaction. I'll need to be paid for

The Sands of Time (Reo version)

The answer is no. No 'update' no 'do it yourself' ... only 'you are a creepy stalker' Weeded Out dies because my songs are registered with APRA. You're just embarrassed that my cheap indie films are much better than yours. This is an industry that has consistently refused to pay for my script. Not an industry that paid me a good sum for the spec, then another sum to revise. Instead, you threatened me with jail time and called me a fetishist and hence 'not trans' Show me yo

'stop moaning, you lucky shit'
The main point is, regardless of intent, the bullies used conversion tactics. After they'd been made illegal. Continuing on after I'd been hospitalised several times looks very bad for VUW etc. - Tina must die. Weeded Out: do the hits can't legally exist. End of story. The NZ media needs to admit complicity and apologise. - You can't justify yourselves. You tried to convert me to straight-passing so that I'd be less of a pain. You wanted that film to exist so my DIY movies

Put another way: Billy T is buried on the same mountain as my Dad's ashes. I recall it being very nearby to Henry and Ross's farm. Carmen was from a nearby tribe. Alistair Riddell's a distant relative. Don McGlashan is distantly related via Ruby King.

Tactics
I think narrowing the debate to a visibility debate is working really well. That's what it's always been about, but now I'm busting their myths. - It's a simple conscience call: should a drag, trans, intersex or kink person be demonised for expressing themselves more fully at the office? I'm hoping to push beyond 'trans' to 'sexual and gender minorities' in labelling the group. With Julia's wording, people seem to listen.

That's the Irish title. I studied the entire Duolingo module, but that was in 2017-2018. My mother's family comes from Northern Ireland. Mostly Scots-Irish. Not sure if it's that region, but it might be. Either way, in Early Medieval Ireland, these were the hostages and slaves. The O'Neill's were the boorish Australians to the North. Sandwiched between the two O'Neill territories, in fact.

Copyright vs. 'vibes'
As I said, people need to tolerate my assertion of human rights. I wrote a script. It wasn't bought. You may have ripped me off, but I've used WriterDuet and APRA to block you from producing a derivative. Do your thing. I'll do mine.

'Oro's Preludes, or stop telling me to add guitar to every piece!
One guitarist only. Jake Church doesn't get to be that guitarist. I don't care that he plays in a duo with Joel. One guitarist only. Would you suddenly hire a second violinist for a violin concerto? Or a second oboist for an oboe concerto? Or a second percussionist for a percussion concerto? - No, you fucking wouldn't, in large part because it would be pointless and expensive. Two guitarists would also cost a lot more, and it would muddy the texture. The orchestration was

Mission creep
I reckon the NZSM has lost of sight of their main goal: excellence in classical music. When I say classical, I'm including gamelan and Indian/Persian etc. Jack's legacy makes that our undeniable selling point, particularly for Asian musics. Jack transcribed a lot of Southeast Asian music. - They're offering a syllabus that's even more varied than the one from my student years with way fewer people. I said that adding traditional music is good, but it's not cheap. At the

Improv and The Dakumentary
One of the upsides of our DIY revolution was that we all got to do what were often improvised bits, capturing those on our phone cameras (or crews, in some cases). Dak Headroom is the archetypal example, but it permeates the entire film.

Did I strangle my brother?
We got in a fight, and I put him in a choke-hold for a few seconds. This was in late 2018. He was behaving erratically, and there was physical assault from both sides. From the end of the guitar competition forward, Stephen wasn't well. Jane noticed, but left when he began to act crazy. People left it to me, and it was a rough few weeks. Then he went out and slept in the Town Belt for a couple of days. He was stabler when he returned. - Yes, I broke the window: the point
