Inferring some clues from The Guardian. Apparently, industry professionals thought that the lengthy post-production process for the four Disney/Sony Beatles films was suspicious. It was supposed to be lavish, set-based and using practical effects. Given those axioms, it would be extremely rare for such a film to need 18 months (or more) in post-production. One of the reasons they were willing to hold Macca and Michelle hostage is that we'd cancelled their plans several tim

More Beatles trivia back-and-forth
Regarding Yesterday, I'm fairly sure that it was George Martin who suggested strings and Paul was keener to do it with only guitar and voice. Macca checked his journals to find out whether he was working on it in New Zealand. - As for 2001: A Space Odyssey, that was Yoko's idea. I'm not sure if it's true. - Re: Apple in the 1960's, Paul wants me to read Apple To The Core, but was rather dismissive of any modern biographies.

Beatles Invade New Zealand-57
By Sir Peter's count, this is the third draft. Alexander MacKendrick said five is the magic number. If it takes longer, then it's failed. Third draft is pretty solid.

The Boys Of Dungeon Lane - alternate art
We were jabbering about the crap album cover, so Sir Paul challenged me to design a fresh one. I didn't manage that, but we saw this from my Imagine Multimedia designs. Ripples in a Pond is a better title imo.

Modified theremin
My chatter about microtonality and guitars got Jane thinking. She's got an idea: a gyroscopic thing that allows her to glide like a string. She could sing and it could accompany her. Something that allows her to feel like she's standing and moving.

Conscription (1964)
Something I've recently learned re: Beatles songs trivia is that Things We Said Today and Yesterday both relate to a scheme to kill Beatlemania by conscripting the lads. Paul and George were the main targets. George was too sickly, but Paul was healthy. There's a sequence that Paul wants laid out: the scheme is introduced to him, then he puts it to Jane when they're on the Virgin Islands, then he's doing that song for her before doing it on tour. I reckon it should open the

Sir Paul, the dirty old man
The rep is that he's a horny old pervert, but honestly he looks pretty sex-positive and all that from a 21st Century SJW POV. He's like me, in that he's fascinated by it but not a keen lover. If you're reading weird things into The Boys of Dungeon Lane, we've got a concept called mateship in Australasia that The Dakumentary is reviving. Circumventing Death is an expression of that ethos.

How to enter the Spirit World...
There are two states to master: Ekagarata (single-pointed focus) Adavita (non-dual consciousness). Single focus on the task of body awareness, as in the yoga nidra tape that I've been handing out to my coven, allowing one to enter the non-dual conscious state (the world of substance and ideas, 'the membrane'). It's working particularly well with Michelle because we've done exercises in real life. The line in Beatles Invade The Establishment! regarding George and the timer

A bitchy comment
Modern opera has no drama; modern musicals have no music. Both are tedious, live and on video. I see my style as akin to Third Stream music. - None of my shows are neatly defined as either musicals, music theatre or opera. In order, they're a movie musical, a song cycle, a masala film and a melodrama. Working For Each Other is a revue, which isn't strictly a musical. Shipwrecked on Islands isn't really a rock musical. It's more than that. I call films of that type integr

Something my father told me was that the song was inspired by the Rose-Noëlle. That's why he's using that imagery.

Why is there a blog for Imagine Multimedia?
People think it seems like a waste, but hear me out. All the mainstream studios are characterising us as a new paywall, but if all our cooperative members are plugging and discussing their media as well as ours, then it's not like they're entirely excluded from our platform. Exclusivity is about protecting the product rather than isolating ourselves from outsiders. We want people to have a great experience of the songs, then do their day. It's not about algorithms; it's ab

Peter Jones = Don McGlashan
That was his pseudonym when he was in the USA. Lots of composers invent a name. All the Broadway people know him as Peter. Taylor knows him as Peter. The strange thing we found out is that Don knew both our fathers. Why didn't this turn up in the documentary? His affair with Jennifer was bad enough, but his affair with Sondheim was a legendary debacle. Everyone in NZ music still judges him for cheating on his wife with a man. He knew Sondheim for longer (and was seeing him

Another showdown
It's 8am, London time. WingNut have arrived, suspicious of Paul's recovery. Though it seems rather extreme, people think that he's being held hostage. There's been a suggestion that the UK police are (begrudgingly) considering GBH with intent to injure, particularly in reference to the actors. More video has emerged. Way above my pay grade, but I'll be on call in case it relates to me.

Why are the UK police minimising Sir Paul?
He's backing a lot of pro-Palestine groups, so it's akin to funding terrorism. As a result, they're keen for the Mendes films to get him out of the way. If it's come to using Photoshop to hide his injuries, then it's pretty insane. His view is that he's safer in Australia or New Zealand. Human rights are hard to gain, but easy to lose.

No. I'm not going to be persuaded. I'm taking out money to seek an injunction. Mum's lawyers have been informed. Pippa didn't believe me, but the image is very plain. Mr. Barr blackmailed me, whether or not we can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Weeded Out is dying because of procedural mistakes that the so-called experts in how to produce a movie made. They didn't acquire the IP. They didn't negotiate in good faith. SPADA owes me a sum of money and a full formal apolo
