Why so acoustic?

Simple: I love the effect of pure acoustic music. That's what I grew up listening to every day at school, and at home (Mum was a piano teacher). And it's most of my training, though yes I was an electric guitarist too. It's a hybrid sound, the one on my records ... I use a lot of ideas from my electric days when adding reverbs. Plus the tape delays. That's what creates the polyrhythms in the Weeded Out title sequence. And the Chloefilm. 😀

Symphony: no, you can't contribute

Dr. Fisher and every so-called 'better' composer at the NZSM has to cease. My themes aren't your property. Only I have the legal right to develop them. Please accept the truth: I've got Paul McCartne
