These Words Are Meant For Someone: how did you guys pull that off?

It's pretty simple: Manny asked me to set some poems, and then we had a chat at my place that was roughly an hour long where he gave me the poems in the order that he wanted and discussed some of the themes. I also had a separate meeting with Lauren to discuss her background as a pianist and the music that she likes. Then I sent the Matins song to Barbara, and she thought it was good. - In terms of the music, Barbara believes that a good singer can stress things that aren't stressed correctly in the music, though in this particular instance it's mostly syncopation rather than misstressed words. That's a massive bugbear of mine... but in this case I had two musicians that had phenomenal rhythm and an interest in music that bends time, which matched my interest in setting English as it's spoken. As I've stated before, I essentially developed the melodies senza misura for most of the songs, and then I set the rhythms as I wrote the piano part.
For the stalkers, here's another missive: stop spying on me by Tuesday, and stop reading my public posts if your sole intention is to force me to return to VUW. You have no legal right to continue this pattern of coercion because I have refused. I have probably said no ten thousand times since early 2023 and today. I have been firm, resolute and completely unwilling to bend. VUW must cease surveilling me, as must the theatre kids and the Council and anyone that isn't a trained professional with the legal right to surveil people. That's the cops, GCSB and SIS, and that isn't private citizens or large institutions. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/lud4b5kahl96bdmo8myad/Recording-57.wav?rlkey=iq2xpyxhtuohxs99atsdrt92l&st=6ghunzri&dl=0
