Sondheim believed in exclusively speaking ill of the dead. The circumstances of his death need to be public. You can't protect his legacy that way. Your loved one was willing to kill Sir Paul and Michelle after his scam was exposed. He abducted people at gunpoint and died in a shootout with the police. Doesn't mean that he didn't make some good films, but it's dishonest to lie. - On a personal note, he harassed me for months. I reported it to the NZ police. Everyone I know who knew him reckons he was duplicitous and self-interested. It does mean that Shawn and others need to accept they're not my level of musician. Yoko thinks the modern rock scene is a bunch of narcissistic man-babies. I'm guessing that Sir Paul agrees. Shawn was in the room when Ringo and Adam arrived. He's implicated.
