No 'almost ready' no 'must be ready' no 'must be Tina' no 'must open for Don' ONLY 'I said no, and those apologies are actually important'

Absolute and unequivocal apologies are important to demonstrate that you weren't being trans-tolerant.

The message the public will take from this scandal can be one of two things: 1. That the Green Party is a bunch of bigots, who were shown to be self-serving by an activist who actually does walk their talk, and went to Olympian lengths to prove their innocence.

2. Transphobia is present in all corners of our society, and the Green Party isn't immune from such beliefs.

The apology easily favours 2. While me scrapping on favours 1.

Literally self-serving: you roasted me to try and buy my movie script. You decided that your people deserved that movie script, and who cares if we mistreat Amanda, cos she's a sexual deviant. Sounds funny when I explain it this way, doesn't it?

No 're' no 'further study' no recitals, no performances until VUW and the Greens face up and apologise. Ideally, they'd also compensate me for the stigma that they perpetuated.
