Well, I don't believe that artists have a social responsibility. That's really my journalism brain whirring around in my brain that thinks those things, but I'd like to point out here that Carmen ran brothels and was a striptease artist. It's not necessarily about whether the profession is noble, but the nobility of the person. I think my smutty, scatological art is equally as valid as my deep, meaningful essays and extracts from books. 🌿 - A gossip column is still a form of journalism ... the RNZ people used to say 'magazine-style' when ribbing me about my blog and previous work experience. I have edited one real book myself, which was Dan McCaffrey's novel.
