RNZ editors that continue participating in Paul Thompson's hate campaign aren't likely to get a favourable go of it from the next CEO. As I understand it, every senior editor in the building was pissed when he wouldn't hire me. All I asked for was a personal apology over the transphobic coverage that led to a suicide. The trans boy who died was a poor story, but it was far from the only one. If a Māori broadcaster had felt the need for a similar apology over a tribal sleight that RNZ's team had levelled, you would have done it.
