Ok, so his tragic death poses an automatic question: are his songs still good? Until the Divine Pitch album, which the suits were censoring as it was done. Should we separate art from the artist? That's Imagine Multimedia's philosophy. Does that mean his art is independent from his actions? No. He could have killed dozens. - What's it like? all the bad stuff disappears when they die, unless it's psychic baggage. John Lennon became a saint, not a serial sexual predator. Stephen became who he was before his slow descent into madness. He always had a screw loose, and wouldn't let qualified people work on it.

Is art separate from the artist? Yes. Paul and Ringo's continued existence and the new Beatles album are totally separate things. I took an HIP approach and worked with a few people in their golden years on a specific thing. As they astutely pointed out in Yellow Submarine, that orb/phonograph ain't them.

Though my brother took loads of drugs, forensic experts reckon his 2018 accident was something within himself that he couldn't resolve. He eventually saw it - or framed it - as a suicide attempt. My 2025 overdose was not a suicide attempt. It was a genuine prescription OD.
