Imagine Mission Statement

Our goal is to promote peaceful progress in human civilisation. We do not seek to take man to the stars, nor to speculate on AI singularities. Alternate futures where the mass of humanity perishes with a century or two are a threat to our very existence, and resistance is our mission. Founding a counterculture archive might seem daunting, but the name itself sets clear parameters: though our core library has some very popular films and songs, it is their relevance to the archive which dictates their inclusion, not fame alone. Our counterculture posits that mutual aid and recognition are the cornerstones of human flourishing. Human life is the only life that we will ever know, and to arbitrarily destroy it for self-advancement is detestable. Peaceful progress is neither slow or easy. If Imagine is to facilitate a better future, it must think in centuries. To maintain the archive, we'll need to invent new technologies, new ways of thinking and new realities. Join us if you dare!
