That is Victoria University of Wellington's annual operating revenue. $50,000 is 0.0101194% of that. I'm not making a film for 'exposure', or for people that are only pretending to like me because they think I can save their jobs. My message is that VUW can either respect my cease and desist letter, or have the guts to pay me that $50,000. Then they'd own the rights and be able to make the film without my influence, because I haven't forgiven the NZSM for taking Jake's side, and I actually want them to fail. Seriously: have you read my whinging blog posts? I'm not trying to stop you: I'm just making sure that you give me what is fair. It takes guts to say no. Nobody co-wrote that script, so it's entirely my decision. Accept that the Dakumentary is what I chose to do. That, and my stories/book. - I'm not interested in doing a showcase of people because they're suddenly facing joblessness after years of calling me a spaz, a freak, a pervert, Tommy Wiseau, and all that bullshit that they really thought. The Dakumentary shows that I'm not an arsehole. They're the privileged dickheads that tried to equate a scholarship or room and board with actual payment. I'm 30 years old. I fucking well expect to get paid if people want to produce my stories, and so would every single one of the people telling me to do it for free. I doubt that Salina or Cassandra or Luke Di Somma has ever written a piece for free.✊🏻
