Why won't I work for Sony?

To start with, Mr. Mendes has been a stubborn dick from day one. At the very least, he needed to come to New Zealand and meet me. That's what he would have done had he known that I'm professionally competent. Instead his tactics are based around negging and sexual humiliation. Bribing the same enemies that I'm investigating isn't a good strategy. They'll roll on him to avoid serious time, much like Mr. Barr's flunkies are. - Re: Weeded Out If people want to make a big-budget gay drama, that's ok. It can't use my IP. Take the several million you want to earn, but leave me out of it (and apologise). Bear in mind that you can't use a transfeminine character who sings. That's verboten. I will halt production if you use any vestiges of my script. Is that a good enough offer for the evil pricks that nearly killed me? - If you used porn to troll me, you deserve what you get. I've sent all the bullshit spam to Sir Paul, along with my harassment evidence. Let's just say that it isn't going to help Sam with producing a Beatles film. - Bear in mind that I'm also keeping Sir Peter a bit off-kilter by refusing to play ball. I wouldn't sign an NDA, plus I'm not keen to sell the script unless he unionises. Nevertheless, he's the clear front runner. He's worked with me for years, and has been genuine and respectful throughout the whole Weeded Out saga. Why? Because he's an honest businessman. He cares about the paperwork. Sony's people have shown why Sir Paul tracked me down: he felt marginalised. I believed Sir Paul when he said he hadn't signed away his rights. They haven't been able to produce since that revelation. Why am I being punished for listening to an elder statesman who was feeling blue? I'd rather work with people that have proven their tolerance for sexual diversity, instead of those that tried to call me a pathological creep for wearing dresses in public. The only reason this came to a head was Nancy jumping to conclusions. I think Paul's planning to divorce her after her tantrum. That's why I'm under extra pressure. - If you want to come to New Zealand and get a tour of the Beatles set, drop it. That's my answer to all the entertainment journalists. Why don't you get Paul, or his lawyers, to sit down and explain the IP issues? Why isn't Mr. Mendes being grilled about his rookie mistake? Do some research. Form your own conclusions. Cover it like it's news. Taking studio payola isn't going to help you if our new platform allows microblogs. I've done my bit, and I haven't been sued. That means it's a real dispute. I'm facing harassment because Sir Peter is likely to end up directing our scripts. As I said, the NZ screen industry has to make it right with me to get those sweet gigs. Otherwise we'll just hire scabs from Australia. WingNut aren't fond of SPADA...

Film studios are richer than the NZ Government, but their threats are empty. The SIS-related scandal really did follow through on their threats, but ultimately lost. My radical candor may seem like a liability, but it's how I've won my battles. They attack me, and I keep the dialogue going until they cross the line to taunt me. Worked in NZ, and it's working on people in LA and London as well.
