  1. If the journos were able to break into the alt-right feeds, those services clearly aren't secure.

  2. Yes, they're peer-to-peer encrypted, but the cops can still get into those message chains.

  3. FB messenger is actually safer, but even then in Aussie the cops are able to surveil those.

  4. So, the challenge stands: face-to-face for anything where any amounts or substances are discussed. No phones or internet-capable devices, and (ideally) nobody taking notes on a criminal conspiracy. 👋

We don't use street slang in my world when it comes to this part of the biz. We discuss the substances by chemical names because that's a sign that it's the real deal. And we still check everything.
