What happens after you make a movie....

I read once that David Lynch has barely seen a movie since he made Eraserhead. From my own perspective, since I made the DIY features, I find it difficult to watch movies. If I remember, Lynch said something like he knew what went into them and couldn't watch films objectively anymore. - Personally, I certainly don't love bad movies for 'so bad it's good' since I made a movie. It really is such a mission to make one that such feelings go out the window. I still think that flawed films can teach you something as a filmmaker, but yeah that sarcasm and hipster irony isn't part of my vernacular. Old movies are mostly exempt from such things... there's a cultural divide too. 👍
