Section 12 of the Misuse of Drugs Act is the main obstacle to opening the new club that I've feinted about for several months. That's what Dakta was charged with for the Wellington ventures. It's a ridiculous law; Gary has petitioned to repeal it before. Section 12 means that even a BYO club would be potentially liable. I mean, it's hyper-specific -- 'hovercrafts' are also liable... It'd be cool if the cops turned a blind eye, but somehow I doubt that, even with a liberal Mayor. - Awesome news: MSD paid me several months of arrears - $3,763.38.
