A art show/museum piece about Palestine. Really interesting; packed in a lot for a room that was tiny. The most interesting part for me was the Dabkeh, a traditional dance that's popular across the Middle East, but originates in Palestine. Looks cool, and something to think about for The Perfumed Garden. One of the exhibits was heartbreaking. Spookily illustrated quotes from children interviewed by the Palestine Trauma Centre. 96% of Palestinian children feel that death is imminent. One section was a wall of Palestinian history, which had examples of contrasting propaganda related to Zionism and Jews 'taking over' Palestine. - Another thing that might be interesting for the opera is the Thobes, which are a traditional women's garment with a distinctive style of embroidery. I loved the decorative style of the ceramics.
