They mostly fall into two categories: people that want to fuck you, or people that wish that they were you. Either way, it's quite irritating. I've definitely had more than enough chats where some guy tells me that he likes to dress up with his girlfriend or that he feels genderfluid, or some cis-passing woman tells me that they're non-binary. I was somewhat annoyed at Aj at Isentia because I felt like it was almost that pattern. - Then there's category 1: people that grope me or hit on me. That's happened several times as well. - When I think about the progress that I've made via my campaign to write my dystopian musical, being able to write these observations on trans life and have them taken at face value is a new wrinkle. But yeah, I'm not really keen to water down my politics, and if that makes my screenplays difficult to produce, then so be it. Hence why I fell into writing: so I could tell those stories without feeling like the money people would tell me to cut stuff. This photo is from 2020. Jacob Heatherington took over Make It Legal Wellington from me after I quit over creative differences.
