To VUW - imaginary letter

Writer: Amanda RiddellAmanda Riddell

So, to those unfamiliar with my mind, I've been debating whether to do more uni with myself (and possibly others).

This is the final answer: I'm not interested in joining the faculty. There's very good reasons, as this protracted negotiation has shown.

1. I'm not signing that contract re: intimate relationships. That's dumb.

2. I'm not interested in replacing Jane or acting as her demo tool.

3. I have a job. I don't need another one.

4. I don't have any interest in campus politics. And I know you all have opinions about me.

5. I don't want to return. I'm fine with my burned bridges.

6. I can still do all the lecturing I want via FB, and it's free to all.

And for those that think this insensitive: bear in mind that my tantrums wouldn't have happened had people taken my feelings into account. I'm not an automaton. I'm just indifferent.
