Let's be plain: I wasn't enrolled as a student during any of the last ten years. I graduated in 2015. Haven't returned. So, given that, there is no realistic outcome that involves VUW acquiring my IP for free. The only reason you want me back is to capture the profits from my shows. - It's plain from your aggressive recruitment campaign that you a) dislike me, b) think that you're superior to me (despite your peccadilloes) and c) thought I was a naive idiot who had never made a business decision before. But Weeded Out was speculatively estimated at over $5 million per season. The Perfumed Garden could take in $1 million of profits over a year. VUW wants a percentage, but will fail to acquire it. They'll have to settle for their students paying us to buy tickets. They need things like the opera to attract international students, and I'm merely drawing a very firm line in the sand that the commercial interests of artists are separate to those of institutions that they may work for. VUW must cease asking me to return, or I'll take my score, boot Dave off and do it elsewhere. That isn't my preference.
