Lady, you have got to either email me formally and meet me one-on-one, or fuck off. You cannot persuade me to assist you, and I have refused on several occasions. Any further discussion of this = a harassment investigation. Spoiled rich girls don't always get what they want, and this is a lesson in being civil and welcoming rather than entitled and rude. You learned to hide it, but I remember you as one of those mean girls in high school that killed my brother's love for music. I emailed you when I was curious about a piece. You need to return that favour. You can discuss the music, but any mention of a return to VUW = harassment. - NZSM took Jake's side (including you). You've organised two events that were implicit attempts to force my return. Because you thought I was a sick sexual deviant that needed converting, you don't get to pretend as if we're friends. No, we're not and that's your fault for being a bitch and refusing to treat me as an equal. - You arrogance and conceitedness about the sophistication of my music is plain from the same test that I use on all the pretentious composers: name the chords I use. What you'll find is that there is a preponderance of bitonal and polytonal harmonies. They're not ubiquitious, but they feature in all my music. Not to mention all the fascinating rhythms that I use (and grooves you can't count). You're just not listening to it cos it's 'light' music. That's bigotry and prejudice, and that is precisely the elitist bullshit that makes me write my pieces on the dole. Nobody's telling me what to research. Nobody's telling me what to write, or they weren't until this year. Your attempts to 'fix' my music recently were highly unwanted, and I expect you to apologise for that. David Seymour got a warning as a result, and this is my warning to you. You nearly killed me. Don't be a smug bitch, and admit fault.

Why don't I overdub everything?

Quality of the song alone and all that jazz... Yes, I can harmonise, but every hit song sounds essentially the same these days. It's like special sauce. The naked demos were distinctive. Again, it wa
