You can't watch over my shoulder.
You have to admit that you have.
You must accept that you're not co-owners of my songs.
Going to uni and picking up a big loan = no obligation to return.
You must settle with me financially for the breach of privacy.
If these conditions aren't met, no future scores will be written. Classical music is going to have to admit that they treated me like a prisoner, not like an equal.
It's an expensive mistake, and they need to look to RNZ, who listened and actually investigated my complaints. I was right, and they feel bad. Now it's looking likely that I'll get to do my old job again, but for RNZ Pacific. To me, that's fair.
They're not responsible for my loss of income, but VUW and SPADA are.
In contrast, VUW is yet to even admit that they were using remote access to illegally spy on my compositional process. This obviously happened: Dave Lisik and Salina Fisher are criminally liable for attempting to 'fix' The Perfumed Garden several months ago.
That's the other reason I overdosed, alongside David Seymour's threat. They were fucking pissing me off, telling me which beat to put the drums on, and which fucking instruments to use. I have never done a similar thing while they worked...
VUW as a whole is criminally liable for invading my privacy. Dave A can vouch that these things have really occurred, and any other courageous people might want to stand up and also admit that they knew it was happening.
VUW, you can't pretend. We've already got you on harassment thanks to those unsolicited emails, and Dave A's already established that VUW higher-ups were pressuring him to rewrite Weeded Out.
So, let's admit that you're caught, and that a six-figure settlement is appropriate, but we'll argue for less if you're willing to own this massive mistake publicly.
SPADA used similar methods. They must admit this. Publicly.
There is only one rule for these settlements: no NDA's, no 'in-kind' payments; only cash.
