Well, despite all the pressure to perform, nobody came. I had a good time, but it wasn't quite the interactive thing I'd hoped for. If I'd done it in Wellington, nobody would have come either. Fiction Room was attended by about 6 or 7 people. Despite being a world-class performer, people hate my guts. - As for all the continued pressure to go back to school... hell no! I like my life, and I'm sick of it being criticised. - Yes, my mouth opens weirdly when I sing legit, but that's not so uncommon. I've always had the lopsided thing. My breasts are lopsided as well. - Wish I'd booked my bus ticket for Saturday rather than Sunday, but I was planning to go to the K Road festival that's happening. But with nobody coming to the gig, there was no koha contribution, and I'm probably going to be doing very little. I saw in Chloe's feed that there's an art exhibit on the Saturday, but I don't have money for a taxi to take me to some unfamiliar place. Planning to hang out in the library all day on Saturday, then sleep in the bus terminal. - The change of scenery is really nice, though; I'm up north with tropical showers while intense weather is battering Wellington.

After listening to the Quran...

It was spellbinding. Totally worth investing a few hours into. Don't really understand it as text, but as music it was very enlightening.
