Talking back to the TV: I can't believe he said a referendum on the Treaty was a bottom line! 😮😮 'really quite unfriendly' re: Iwi Chairs -- wtf is this guy smoking? - Watched it in the lounge, but watching it again for the fine details... 9:58pm. I wonder how active he is on Telegram chats... he was the only politician willing to speak to my brother in his follow-up documentary on the occupation (which was cancelled due to his mental health problems). John Minto was too, though. It's not all conservative fans of Riddell Productions. 🤟👋 - Watched this trashy thing on Three: Con Girls. Fucking crack-up! I admire (and feel filthy about) documentarians who are able to get those stories. Like The Imposter, which is a similar style/genre of documentary. - As for my grammar: I'm speaking Māori English in these, as that's what the cannabis community speaks/reads/writes. Plus it's what my older bros spoke... it's just innate. It's a cultural thing, not an ethnic thing. Communicating to my audience of stoners, rich and poor alike. 👋❤️ - 'fourth-hardest in the OECD' for foreign investment. Is that true? - something David said. Fair pay agreement is 'introducing more bureaucracy' - again, straight from the horse's mouth. 😱 'less safe than we need to be' -- fear-mongering. Oh, fuck this youth jails crap! WTF! 😡 - My trans documentary: I'm very serious about. There's one from NY that I've heard about which is similar, so that's something to check out. But there's a part of me that reckons I should make it without looking overseas. My main advantage right now is that I know some people who were around in the 1970's and 1990's. Those people like me for my Kiwiness, so that's probably part of how to capture that energy. For those who are wondering, Mika played the young Carmen in the 1980's documentary... but this isn't really about Carmen: I'm more interested in this interconnection between sex work and kink, alongside the trans issues. My idea is to convey it via the artworks from the exhibition that I saw in 2022, or something similar to those. - 'they're so destructive' - Seymour on the Greens. - To be blunt about kink, it's actually illegal to discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation in Aotearoa-New Zealand. Yes, that's true. So yeah, discriminating against me based on my kink is illegal. I wonder how Eilish felt about that furry flag in Ok Chloe.... I sent her the film, obviously. 👋
