Sitting on a rock After spending all night tripping: There with my lover. I'm sick of mothering you; Too afraid of othering you. Nothing left to discover. Gazing at the Moai statue... Sunrise: You were my one prize. Sunrise: Now you're blooming with her lies. Strange colours shimmer As engine echoes glimmer: Peace and serenity. Sunrise: Lapping up the harbour thighs Penetrating the banks. Seems I should give thanks To you. Amanda Riddell April 2026
