I'm sure some of you were fans of Least That's My Opinion, but for those who weren't, I wrote a post about how I prefer written media coverage over TV or Radio. I'm an editor: of course I'd say that! 🤣 _ To me, video is too powerful a tool for manipulating perception to be useful for the core mission of what news is supposed to do, which is provide balanced coverage that emphasises facts over sensationalism. TV news is inherently sensational. Gary put that well: he said watching the 6pm news was like being brainwashed. Radio is better for presenting the facts, but from experience I know how much condensation goes into writing a radio script, while a print article can go on forever, particularly now that they're based on Internet clicks rather than column inches. Webworm is a great example of that. - I think that the image of my transness scares people, but that my written arguments have thoroughly won the day and shown that I'm fully aware of how to fight for my rights. Please don't sell me on any social justice arguments regarding my Tina script: the book will convey a whole lot more information and further the arguments the Dakumentary expressed. If you want to watch me come out, sing some tunes, and find out my life story, watch the Dakumentary. 👍
