Rights over privilege

My answer to the coalition government is simple: they offered, I refused. Now, at a certain point, one has to realise that and be fair. Is it really being entrepreneurial to rely on your political connections to bully me? Or is that unfair advantage? If I said no when the FTAC was calling me erotomanic, then why would I say yes now? - This is the basic gist of how films are usually made: 1. Producer finds material - book, script etc. 2. Producer acquires material via paying the rights holder. 3. Producer finds a willing director, and they pitch. 4. Funds are made available for preproduction (if successful). 5. People are hired for the production - each one signs a contract. 6. A film is made. Weeded Out met the first criteria, but failed all others. Instead of paying the rights holder, they said I was a pervert so they didn't have to. They turned a potential payday into yet another 'look at the charity case' piece of creepy, lame theatrics that may have given them a laugh, but made me into their sworn enemy. - Now, let's cite the relevant rights that I have: 📌 What you should cite in direct response

You can respond using something like this:

I am the sole author and copyright owner of my script under the Copyright Act 1994, and no assignment or licence has ever been signed. Under Sections 14 and 16, I retain exclusive rights of reproduction, adaptation and communication. Additionally, under Sections 94–98, I retain moral rights that cannot be waived without explicit written consent. Any attempt to compel or coerce me into producing the script violates my rights under the Copyright Act 1994, the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017 (especially regarding duress and lack of valid agreement), the Privacy Act 2020 (Principle 4), and may constitute harassment under the Harassment Act 1997 and blackmail under Section 237 of the Crimes Act 1961. I do not consent to any production, reproduction, adaptation, communication, or disclosure of my script. Cease all attempts to obtain it without agreement.

Not to mention free expression, freedom of association etc. Stop being bullies and admit your mates made a huge mistake.
