Hot day Like really fucking hot. Gary’s probably cycling around the waterfront… - MVP for today: Grant - he handled that Nicola Willis question amazingly well, shouting down the whole National Party while rattling off figures like a horse announcer. - The public media question: I thought Melissa Lee was tenacious, but that comparing media spends to public health responses was an unfair analogy. Clearly RNZ-TVNZ, Three Waters and crime are National’s big issues. - One of the Labour back-benchers brought their baby into the House, which was fun. - Newsy bits: Aotearoa now has a month’s supply of petrol in reserve, which apparently will help cost of living. Bus drivers will soon be paid $30 p/h, if I understood that question correctly.

Re: first names - that’s a camp affectation!

Plus I live on Willis St., so his electorate office is on the way to work.
