Saw Goldie and Hana while hanging around. Got a clip of Hana. I still felt like a pawn in the Prime Omelette's court, even though he was in absentia today. 1. Lu to Willis NL 5, NW 5 Fiscal policy. 'meet all our objectives' - Goldie, on behalf of Nicola, who then arrived. This prompted a bizarre point of order determining which member should answer the supplementaries. 'Restraint is required ... this is not austerity' - Nicola Brownlee said that members can't speculate in questions or answers. 2. Chippy to Winston C 6, WP 4

Winston's day to shine as deputy PM. Four questions. 'This is going to be painful-as' - Gary. 'He's really helping your case' - Megan Woods, sniping to the Nats. Lots of fair pay chatter. That issue is above my pay grade. 3. Bidois to Bish DB - , CB - More public transport in the north west of Auckland. 60% commute from the north west every day. This question got cut short by Brownlee. Something about 'comment, not a question' 4. Carmel to Nicola Grigg CS 6, NG 4 More pay equity. Grigg sounded like the perfect stooge: 'I always agree with the PM ... this is positive news for women!' 5. Bates to Goldie CB 5, PG 5 Goldie's style of delivery cracked me up! 'It's like cleaning up a stab wound by pouring more blood on the floor' - Gary on National's response to crime. 6. Marama to Winston MD 6, WP 3 Couldn't really follow this question. 'Sharing the burden' = private donations to DOC? 7. Edmonds to Willis BE 6, NW 4 Too high for this... tuning out. 'load of bollocks; she's dug a hole and she's throwing women in to fill it up' - Gary 8. Weenink to Doocey VW 5, MD 5 Women's Refuge has been supported with $1 million (including matched funds) from the Mental Health and Addictions Innovation Fund. The money will upskill workers and build deeper connections with mental health services. 9. Chloe to Winston CS 5, WP 3 From what I saw while glancing over the balustrade, Winston seemed unhinged and the answers made very little sense. However, Brooke ended up taking the dunce cap with the following question. 10. Tinetti to Van Velden JT 6, BVV 2 'It's all lies' - Gary of a defence of the pay equity removal. 'hierarchy of comparators' - Brooke. Classic jargon! 'I believe women should be paid for work ... pay equity confused with collective bargaining ... gender pay gap and pay equity are separate concepts.' - Brooke. Every women MP in the opposition was chirping at her. Talk about missing the point!

  1. Mariameno to Chhour MK 5, KC 5 Compared to that, this OT question was fairly sedate. There are staffing shortages, and the number of people with case loads of over 20 tamariki is rising. 'I'm out there listening' - Chhour.

  2. Unkovich to Jonesy TU 4, SJ 4 'We have to dig mines rather than smoke P? Wtf?' - Gary 'Legalise green fairies, and that's Northland sorted.' - Gary 'An energy bridge is being contemplated in Northland' - Jonesy
