I think people read my Shipwrecked screenplay and presume a certain type of movie. However, I've been very clear that my goal is actually to record a concept album with a narrator and dialogue. That's an eminently sensible and practical goal. - The other screenplay would be an absolute nightmare logistically, and nobody seems to actually like it all that much -- they might like the idea, but they dislike my characters and that's why I'm telling them to bugger off while I write a book. 🥝 - The short stories are what I'm planning to film; I'm somewhat reluctant, but I think it's probably worth doing, particularly for The Plaything. The Day The Flat Burned Down is beyond me VFX-wise, while I reckon I could do the roto and other trippy FX for The Plaything.👍

It's a dig at the idea that my films promote drug use. Medical cannabis is legal in New Zealand: it was meant for users. I'm fine with being a global symbol for legalising cannabis and psychedelics.

My feelings about the Tina saga: the feedback from the arseholes who aren't in my reality was condescending and presumed that they knew the drugs scene: for the most part, I highly doubt that.

That's my world, and honestly my documentary is more than enough for anyone interested in drug law reform. My book will have that novella, my short stories, my essays and photos/art.

As I say, I want to make my version of Bullshit and Jellybeans. That's my idea of expanding my brand to another medium, plus I'm competing with my brother's Acapella booklet. 🧠
