I've spent my whole life stuck in-between Waikato and Canterbury. Though my dad left Waikato after high school and never lived there again, he still had that pride, so we supported those rugby and cricket teams. And now the whakapapa is revealing the same thing. Hence a mountain from one region, and a river from another.
