Deciding which biscuit crumbs

Fall from their table scraps

into our laps.

Deciding which thumbs

A parade of complacency.

That's just another Tuesday.

Maybe my good news day

is around the corner.

Giving aroha

Instead of violence.

Legislating for yesterday:

It makes you wonder why they even bother. Amanda Riddell April 2026
