No. I'm not interested in acting. If you're serious, you'll find that I have no representation. That means that people need to do what Sir Paul has done: approach me. You can't fudge it. You can't send emissaries. You're negotiating with me, not William Morris. I'm a writer-director who happens to have a beautiful voice. Same goes for Taylor Swift, except she genuinely enjoys acting. - As I said, all gigs this year are AMPP gigs. There's no other reason to do one. Though people are baffled, I find the challenge of keeping five-six voices in tune as a singer-guitarist much more fun than karaoke. That's what McCartney thought was cool. It's rare. Most singer-songwriters sound husky and pitchy. Even when I'm pitchy, it's usually still in the mode. A pops evening is just glorified karaoke and I don't use microphones. Yes, really. I refuse to use a microphone: it makes my voice lazy.
Amplification eventually ruined musicals. That's what Sondheim thought.
