Growing up in a musical family

Though my cousin David plays rock guitar, and I found that Māori composer in my family history, my Mum's side of the family is the one that's full of musicians. Mum wasn't a stage mum, but when it became obvious that I was good, she took control of my music education. Burnside was her idea. My cousin AJ and my brother Jeremy gave me some guitar pointers in high school.
