I'm really serious about the sex work documentary. I think it's a destigmatising project, while the series would reinforce existing beliefs.
It's a useful treatise on third gender. I think it'd be best in a comic book. -
But yeah, I loved the exhibit last year. And I think that sex workers using their art to convey the porn life is a great hook.
It's not something TVNZ would fund, but I think I could make the doco for free if RNZ kept giving me shifts.
I've got the money to buy a new camera, tripod and laptop, but Mum holds the keys to my trust.

The archive material is also important. That's why the NZPC is important for that… I need permission to listen to the audio interviews (including of you) to find extracts for a Ken Burns effect.

To be blunt: Tina doesn't do porn, but Amanda does. And that's the outlet I prefer to my script, as with porn I can be the object of desire without being touched.
That's more comfortable for me. I want to direct, not to act, but actually producing is my favourite job. I produced Te Whakaahua, and the Dakumentary.
It's been fun to use the archives for the dak film, but for fiction I'm very demanding about the camera angles and lighting. I'm a good DP in my own right, so I only outsource when necessary.
I'll try and pop into the op shop, but the City Mission is closer to my hotel. I like Aunty Dana's, but I find the mission store has women's clothes that are more normal. The Warehouse is decent too, but that creates a white trash effect.
My best outfits are from Dana's (or from catalogues). 👩
