I'm still keen to do that. But, instead of casting musicals stars, I think we need to look at it as like an HIP thing. So, imagine Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks rather than the NY Philharmonic as the band. And given that there's a lot of specialty numbers, it's more important to get people that can really dance or do tricks. I see it as a more earthy take on the material than the play, which is essentially a dreamscape.

As for whether the Mutton Birds dudes want to do the Shipwrecked stuff... well, that would be cool, but I'm not so sold. I'm not doing more conversations with myself: I thought it was a neat demo, but that's about it. It's about Question Time. Tell Me, Dear is like my anxious feelings. The script isn't done, so it's a bit premature to start casting. I don't want the Red Scare band: I'm at pains to point out that I don't think they're up to my music. The rhythms are very precise.
