The flaw in your business model is that it hinges almost entirely on legacy IP. That's fine: we're doing that as well. The difference is our business model. Yours is constant subscriber growth + attention economy. Ours is a cooperative that partners with large state-funded institutions. It's a counterculture archive that updates itself, not a corporate cash machine. We're only searching for enough profitability to fund the business. If we only reach 3 million paid subscribers, it'll probably fund itself. That's what ChatGPT said, and the professional accountants agree. Even the free subscription will have several movies and albums rotating monthly. Disney+ is the dinosaur, not Sir Paul or Apple Corps. They took my proposal seriously, and people really are signing up.
We see Imagine Multimedia as akin to a public good. It's a service that was devised by a bunch of curators, archivists and nerds that loved my pirate streaming service on Facebook.
