Dakumentary thought

I think there's definitely an element of people being sucked in by the surface of that film and then not necessarily gleaning the deeper message. Episode 3 and Episode 4 in particular could be seen to be glamourising the lifestyle, but speaking from the on-the-ground perspective, it really wasn't all that glamorous and we were all waiting for the day that weed was legal and the vibe wasn't as scuzzy. So, for my bougie 'friends' that usually hate me but love this documentary, keep in mind whether it's the misery porn that you like, or whether it's the politics and the philosophy. Regarding the part of the doco that's about coming out, I think it's particularly important to note the difference between my mates that came to the Daktory or are characters in that documentary vs. my mates that didn't visit the Daktory and miss the old me rather than getting to know the new me. It's nice that you miss me, but please stop telling me that social acceptance in your elitist world hinges on regular performances and sobriety: I'm not doing either of those things.

Emanuel and I are in agreement: I'm not going to be singing a live version. Why? Because I'm not a full-blooded tenor. Much like any singer in the world, I can sing excerpts (at my discretion). The f

Leaving aside the fact that life rights aren't a concept in the Commonwealth, the truth is that the Rashomon Beatles films must be conditional upon script approval. There's no other reason that Paul

Regarding 'The Dakumentary is a hit, so do it again and do that Tina movie' ... 1. You have no legal right to ask me to alter my gender expression. 2. You have no legal right to ask me to perform my material. 3. My script is my property, and I have yet to receive a legitimate offer for it. As far as I can tell, the NZSM is offering me 'exposure' - study, then do this for us. Given that I'm over 30, and I haven't made a living wage due to their lack of support, I'm very cold to their half-hearted emotional pleas. It's nice that they missed me, but that's about it, and I'm still as pissed off as I was…

One more, for the peers: Ask Michelle, James and Cass to write their own story.

That is a really reasonable thing that those 'talented writers' should be able to do for themselves. Bare minimum request for these pricks: real invites to a real meeting in which I am actually allowed to formally refuse.

That is a bare minimum because the IP rules simply say that I own my intellectual property outright, and that is because all of it came from my brain and my pen.

Michelle studied creative writing, James Cain has a Masters, and Cass has won a number of prizes: they should be able to invent their own characters, their own stories, their own situations and film their…
