Amanda has made a deliberate choice to further her education in Te Reo Māori with Te Wānanga O Aotearoa, after careful consideration of her personal interests and aspirations. While she acknowledges the potential benefits of further study in music or film, she has determined that such pursuits at Victoria University do not align with her current path and objectives.

Furthermore, Amanda has expressed her ethical concerns regarding the university's request for her to produce an autobiographical screenplay without fair compensation for her creative work. The proposition that she should undertake such a project for free, while also paying course fees to individuals who do not hold the underlying intellectual property rights, is both morally and ethically unacceptable to her.

It is disheartening to note that the university seems more focused on its financial interests, rather than respecting the autonomy and well-being of its students. Amanda is acutely aware of the fiscal challenges facing Victoria University and believes that the responsibility for these issues lies squarely with the institution itself. The constant invasion of my privacy, coupled with the refusal to acknowledge the moral and ethical implications of your actions, has compounded the distress I have experienced. Your unwarranted assumptions about my private life, my transgender identity, and my romantic relationships have only served to exacerbate the pain and humiliation I have endured.

I have repeatedly pleaded with you to respect my boundaries and leave me alone, asserting my rightful ownership of the intellectual property in question. However, your refusal to heed my pleas has only added to my frustration and despair.

The emotional toll of your actions has been immense. I have suffered irreparable damage to my sense of self-worth and security. Your prying gaze has forced me to justify and defend aspects of my personal life that should be mine to navigate without fear of judgment or condemnation.

As a result of your actions, I no longer feel safe or comfortable in my own identity. The emotional trauma I have endured has far-reaching consequences, affecting every aspect of my life, including my relationships, my career, and my mental health.

It is crucial to emphasize that I have no interest in restitution or reconciliation. My sole objective is to reclaim a sense of freedom and autonomy in my life. It is abundantly clear that any possibility of collaboration or cooperation with these individuals is untenable.

All I seek is to extricate myself from this situation and move forward without the burden of their presence in my life. The tactics they employed felt nothing short of mentally violent, akin to the tactics used in abusive relationships.

It is essential to recognize that despite the distress and turmoil inflicted upon me, I have never resorted to violence or retaliation. I have been a victim of violence, not a perpetrator. My primary focus now is on reclaiming my sense of safety, dignity, and peace of mind via the book that I'm writing.
