Nobody mentions it cos they're European, but they're technically an Indigenous band. They're just a bunch of guys from Northern England, not Americans. Reminding people that indigeneity isn't all about skin colour. - As a guitarist myself, I'm fairly sure that George could read music a bit. To get that good, it's sorta required. Like, reading the melody for a leadsheet or something, not classical guitar.
