Why include covers? From the outset, it wasn't like it had to be a totally new album. The main goal was to introduce me to a global audience. Don angled for me to include In My Room. That's his DMT song. Paul suggested Here, There and Everywhere, and pushed me to cover it. Ironically, the Hugh Martin song is one that Paul recognises from his childhood. It's from a West End musical which was televised in the 1950's. - What's the message? It's similar to the neo-Luddite views in Machine Fatigue, decrying post-modern malaise, but it's grounded in my own activism and experiences of being a well-known dissenter. I see it like the Yellow Submarine album: we're all in this together.

Is it any good? People seem to dig it, but it's not as cohesive as my musicals. It's more like a collection of singles with lots of B-side material. The music videos are probably my best yet.
