Am I estranged from my family?

Depends which family you're talking about... I'm not talking to my Riddell whānau, particularly after discovering their involvement in my brother's demise. Other than Clare, that side of the family is basically dead to me. They tried to disinherit me. Twice. I'm not talking to my Crawshaw whānau, but I like them. They're all good. Mum has been suggesting that I change my surname to Crawshaw since I came out. Working with the Beatles meant being cautious, but I'm all good with those cousins. - I haven't really taken Mum up on it; Michelina serves my purposes. Taylor's quite serious about changing her surname when we collaborate. She saw how changing my name to Amanda Michelina liberated my compositions. She's hoping that being Taylor Michelina might change her music as well. - Given we're all Māori, it's depressing to think that my Riddell relatives are racists. That's what people tell me, though. Don said my uncle tried to beat him up when he was with Andy. Yeah, my Dad was bisexual. Not that surprising: he said he hadn't had much luck with women...
