As for the big wedding .. well, if Jacinda asked I'd work up a quote. It wouldn't be cheap, given the sort of work. I've never actually played a wedding gig before: nobody has invited me to a wedding yet.

She'd want really specific things, and those would cost a lot to prepare. It's not a typical background gig, and that would be $100/hr.

Depending on what she asks, I'd say it might be $500 or $1000 (to pay for the practice time as well).

But even then, I'm not in the mood to play.

I heard from Katya that David Russell commands $20,000 per gig. That's 'best guitar player in the world' money, and that's usually a 90-minute spot. Of course, he practices 4hrs/day, while even at my peak I only practiced 2.5hrs/day.
