Yes, that's what I did during 2021, which is why that EP has a student rock vibe, but I wasn't studying; I was just getting paid to review essays from students from universities across Australasia (and some from the UK and Canada). It improved my punctuation, but eventually it became tiresome; the news is always different, while every essay is the same after you've read a thousand or so.

No, you can't keep saying that I have to make Weeded Out. I intend to seek an injunction to shut you up. That's what will be going down in April and May. Or y'all could just give up today and save me

VUW and Massey were conspicuously absent, but I used to read essays from AUT, Uni of Waikato and most of the polytechs. 🔥 I'm not anti-Massey, though; I think all the universities are equally stupid. Until a government gets stuck into making tertiary education completely free, it's a moot point whether they're centres of knowledge of centres or authority (I'd plump for the latter being the current state).

Yes, I'm aware that free-market people would counter by saying 'money democratises knowledge, and a subsidised system would be the true centre of authority' -- I disagree: if education is equally avaliable from the outset, and - yes, I've noticed that the left stole this one from George W. - no child is truly left behind (🤣), then every student from every socioeconomic background would have the opportunity to pursue their passions to the level that they desire. 👍
