My time is spoken for: I'm not sure how you missed that memo, but I'm literally taking a full-time Māori course.
It might be free, but it is seriously a 40 hour a week course. I'm busy, and the reason that I'm doing this course is a) curiosity, b) for my 2030 musical and c) potentially to improve my opportunities as an editor.
I'm also quite serious about wanting to study rongoā, so that's another thing that I might pursue via Te Wānanga O Aotearoa.

So, this means that I'm not available to do any films; I've committed to my 2030 film as my vision, and for those who aren't keeping track, that would be the fourth feature-length piece that I have made.
Portrait of a Knight (70 minutes), These Words Are Meant For Someone (48 minutes .. yes, that's technically still a feature according to APRA), and my Transtasia (78 minutes). Plus the ever-expanding epic that is the Dakumentary. I'm a fully blooded pro, and I simply want that level of respect from potential collaborators, regardless of how much richer and more privileged they are than me. If you want to know about my queer and trans vibe, watch my Transtasia. 🏳️⚧️ - I make art films; I'm not into easy explanations - I like viewers to do some work rather than making films that are like a theme park ride (or a woke box-ticking exercise for straights).🤣 I've rehearsed people, I've been in charge of a set, I've organised teams and we did all of that on a shoestring budget, while my so-called peers and allies had significantly more money to use than me. 🎥 - It also means that I'm not returning for any further study at VUW. Accept that, and then wonder why it is that I said no... Hint: it was your negative attitudes about my transition.👍
