To all the people who are baffled by my decisions: I don't want to be taken care of. To put my life in perspective, I have an identical twin, and I'd seen him basically every day of the week since we were born.

So, if people choose to interpret the twincest as literal (we just thought it was fighting), I've been married for 20 years, and I've only been single for a few.

I'm not a drag queen, and people grasp that distinction in Wellington, while up north it felt more like people see me as a drag queen.

The real me is way subtler than my characters were. I prefer screen persona to 'character' to describe my profiles, but yes it's definitely performance art.

Real me stutters and really isn't curable, but that's what makes me a good writer.

- To the film people:

If you want to film me, fine, but I don't want any make-believe. Like, if you're thinking 'oh, I could get money to film Amanda as a human interest story', perhaps; I'd rather be on a TV talk show promoting my album than have people follow me around with cameras.

I'm not kidding when I flagged the feature doco as a reason that I was distant about meeting Chloe. I'm not someone who enjoys being photographed.

I'd like to record the chorus number, but I'm too paranoid. Took a small dose of Quetiapine. I'm not rushing my plans for the dawn film: 21 sitting days left, and apparently team weed have plans for the last sitting week. I'll string an assembly of all the weekend footage together -- I think it's compelling without paint. I'm not really an actor, but I nicked some shots from that Aussie movie, so I think that'll be the episode. I reckon it'll be easier to shoot on Parliament Grounds after the election campaign starts, which will also give me the lebensraum to nail it.
