world-famous in New Zealand

Well, it finally struck me when I published the score of the song cycle that I'm famous outside of NZ too. It's a weird feeling. I'm feeling the weight, but it's powerfully vindicating that a piece I wrote has gathered a fanbase. Portrait of a Knight isn't as popular, though I think the score was somewhat successful. Riddell Productions was mostly a local focus, but as a soloist I've had more of an international focus, as that was the game plan with my guitar playing. I hate touring, though, so that conflicts with my desire to tour. - I think the animations were cool, and totally added another energy to the cycle. As for my desires, my website says 'no stage work' - and I'm serious. I really don't want to do any theatre shit. I dislike attending plays, and my acting class wasn't fun because I didn't fit in. I don't want to do plays. I'm sorry, but I'm not interested. It's really hard to make movies, and documentaries are very time-consuming. That's my passion, along with my operas. I've radically reduced my artistic practice as I embraced the DIY side, and that's a fun challenge for me (using my phone camera and making it feel epic). But not for fiction. The Weeded Out doco was cool BECAUSE it was real. That's what was cool about it: making real life into Waking Life lol... but not for me, please. 🥱[yawning due to boredom about this stupid soap opera pilot that I wish I hadn't written]. - My goal is to inspire other people to sing my cycle. That's what I'm hoping to accomplish with this Ad campaign. 👍
