Why not just make a Tina film?

Main reason: I'm working (slowly) on a book based on the script, which also includes a number of other things, such as my comics and perhaps some Shadbolt-style posts from my blog. At this point, any professional filmmaker with a sense of decorum would wait to see if the book solves the story issues, not that there were any: the cabal love the plot, and find my characters and settings gross. Weeded Out was too grunge for them. - Secondary reason: because the business side of this negotiation was handled poorly, and because those production companies didn't take the hint when my IP claims began. No matter how noble they thought they were being, their attempts to force me to star could be seen as a form of conversion therapy - there's a box in the Counting Ourselves survey which pretty much describes their attempts to force me to take hormones and to wear makeup in order to be a movie star. Tory and VUW have to admit that they expected me to begin HRT and apologise for the social pressure that they applied. Given that they let me come to the office as Amanda, I don't think RNZ were pushing hormones on me (just mentioning them). - Given the bullshit that the drag queens put me through, it sorta seems dumb to pretend as if I enjoyed university the first time around (I didn't). Referring to myself in the third person isn't a sign I'm a drag queen. I can't rely on people using my pronouns, so insisting on the name is my way of impressing my transness upon squares.
