Why didn't I sign the NDA?

Because I fucking hate NDA's and everything to do with confidentiality in entertainment. Paul's beatings and abduction were entirely the result of Disney/Sony producers using those agreements to make people feel important when they were just pawns for them to steal back the rights to Beatles songs. Peter was fine with it, but it's true that I didn't get paid as a result. I figured that Paul would pay me, not knowing he was tens of millions in debt... - My philosophy is radical transparency. This is true in politics, life and business. Part of the reason that people are keen to be in our Beatles films is that we let them see how the script was shaping up and I spread a bunch of gossip that Apple Corps told me. Radical honesty is the natural counterpoint to radical transparency. Instead of flattering people to make a movie, I usually tell people exactly what I feel. As long as there aren't a ton of sycophants around, it works really well. My plan is that Wellington will be constantly buzzing with Beatles tidbits and chatter. Peter has pointed out that there are some limits to this plan, but likes it. - With WriterDuet, there's no reason to be secretive. The timestamps are foolproof.

Sam was desperately hoping that I couldn't defend my pages, but he was wrong. Steve Barr found the same thing. Disney nearly crashed their servers to hack me. I don't want people like Michelle being nearly killed (or killed) by pricks that took massive upfront payments - $10 million each for the principals + Sam - so that they could pretend to be what we really are. Hollywood isn't my dream. Imagine is the culmination of Peter's life's work, and I'm just the person who put the pieces together and has to run it with Taylor and a few other young people that are keen to build it.

A little, but it's mostly the Māori showband beat. On acid with Paul, I mentioned that the Māori beat is hard to do because it's a constant 1. When he heard that, I think he knew that it was going to

Paul was out of ideas, hence my suggestion to create a Beatles streaming service. Peter has spent almost all his life attempting to bring Hollywood-level productions to NZ. He's not English, by the way; someone said that to me. Born and bred in Wellington.

Replying to

Disney and Sony are likely to lose about $200 million each. Possibly more. It was all predicated on getting the rights and making new songs/films with AI. Ironic, given that they tried to write off my overdubs as 'AI' because they were good. They were willing to offer Peter $15 million USD to make an all-AI Beatles film that would 'open' for theirs. Yes, really. The four films were probably meant to be terrible. Aaron Sorkin and others should definitely reconsider whether they were a good choice to write it, given their lack of skill as musicians or as drug-taking hippies. It's no wonder that they've spent the last several years ruining my life.
