Why am I shaming lefties for being anti-trans?

Well, not all of them are lefties. Most of the classical music people tend to lean towards National, and even the 'left-wing' are Labour voters. But mostly because I live in Wellington; the right wing isn't especially large here, and generally respects my talent as a musician. They disapprove of my lifestyle, but they're not the ones that insulted me constantly. It's all the bloody liberals that said I should make my Weeded Out fiction film for the greater good, but didn't even bother to front up for a basic negotiation or write a letter of interest when they intially read the screenplay. Gonna call out James Ashcroft on that: bro, I sent you that script ages ago, and you haven't sent me a reply. If you want it, reply to me. He's not Wellington-based, but you get the idea. - One thing that massively irritates me as a trans person in Wellington is all these straight people that can't understand why we don't go to Pride. That's the gay community being butthurt that we're not their free advertising any more and our cause is trendier. Plus there's the hate hui and the drag community targeting me in the newspaper... They thought I was bad for their image, and now they're attempting to backtrack and say that they were always my allies. That's why they want the movie: for their image, and to show their foreign friends how cool Wellington is (so that they'll move here). If the powers-that-be sorted out the rights for the Dakumentary, it'd do the same thing, and actually tell a fascinating real-life story about me and my druggie friends, most of whom were straight. Chloe and I brought the gayness. 'hate hui' is Dave Roil's term. He used it to describe Suzanne Tamaki and all the other lesbians being pissed off at Amandulah when she became the Pride organiser. Difference with Tory's evening was that I was present for the hate hui, though they probably held a bunch behind my back to organise it.
