'we had to'

This is the defence that my enemies have used regarding their conversion therapy. Sorry, but again, that's a total load of bullshit. I wasn't charged for any of my supposedly immoral activities, I wasn't convicted, and I certainly wasn't consulted about this attempt to catfish and gaslight me into being straight. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but doesn't diversion come after charges? Aren't citizens in a liberal democracy supposed to expect a modicum of privacy? If people are taking potshots at you in the paper, isn't it reasonable to strike back? Isn't the default liberal standpoint supposed to be that we affirm genders rather than wishing that they were straight? So, given those four questions, what the fuck is your defence? That Rosemary forced you to? That's total bullshit, and some Family Court judge doesn't actually have the authority to convict people for criminal offenses. In essence, you all participated in an illegal conspiracy which was at least as convoluted as the Daktory gang. You're unwilling to accept that the illegality negates any claim that you could have had regarding my material. From the legal standpoint, I published the scripts with sole credit and nobody whined.
It was only after I cancelled their meal ticket that they tried to steal credit. - These are the reasons that I'm begging you to leave me in peace and to let me get on with my own life in my own way. We're not friends anymore and, until you apologise, this is all that can ever happen.
